GETTING TO THE EXHIBITION
PREPARE YOUR TRIP TO TRADE DAYS
Located bang in the middle of the UK’s motorway network, jumping in the car is the ideal way to get to the NEC.
If you are using a satellite navigation system please enter the post code B40 1NT to pinpoint the NEC.
Shuttle Bus Service - Team NEC operate a convenient shuttle bus service from the car parks to the halls during the open period of each show. They usually run from one hour before the event opens to one hour after the closing time. Please check the electronic signage at the bus stops for live information.
Pedestrian Access - If you choose to walk from your car park, please follow the finger post signage to the halls.
Getting to us by train is brilliantly easy as the NEC is located less than a ten-minute walk from Birmingham International Railway Station.
From Birmingham International Railway Station, access to The NEC is via our covered ‘Bridgelink’.
You will need to travel up the escalators, go across the bridge link and down another set of escalators into the Piazza. Please then follow the signs across the skywalk and into the Atrium where you will find Halls 18-19.
From here you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes.
Jumping on a bus in Birmingham City Centre? You’ll want the X1 service (every 15 minutes) or the 97A (every 30 minutes). Local services also run from Solihull (966) and Coventry (900). Choices, choices.
Birmingham Airport is right on our doorstep, so it’s hardly surprising we attract thousands of international visitors every year.
More than 20 international airlines serve Birmingham International Airport, which is conveniently situated a few minutes from The NEC and The NEC Arena. Together they provide scheduled flights from 34 destinations in the UK, Europe and North America. The group’s venues are also easily accessible from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and other regional airports.
Watch the world go by and travel in style and let someone else worry about watching the roads.
