I am starting up a new disability company and I’m very impressed with the new contacts I have managed to make here. I’m looking to go on-board with new suppliers, and Trade Days has truly opened my eyes to what’s out there. You can see a range of competitors in one place, understand pricing and talk trade. I’ll definitely be returning in 2017.
Colin Galbreath, Director, West Coast Disability Centre
This is our third year at Trade Days, and I have been in the mobility business for thirty years. I travel from Somerset every year as I like that the event is specifically trade-only, so you can meet with manufacturers and talk openly about pricing. There’s no OTs which is a nice change from other events.
Andrew Ross, Director, Making Life Easier
We have come to look for new products; while we’ve been particularly impressed with some of the beds, we feel that hoist equipment was missing from the range of vendors. We attend Naidex and other smaller industry events, but this is by far the biggest and best.
Anonymous Business Owners
There’s a lovely atmosphere here – catching up with everyone, seeing lots of brilliant new products.
I think it’s important to attend national events as you’re not stuck with your regional competition. Here, you can talk openly to people from the other end of the country and share ideas without worrying.
Keith Bolan, Business Manager, Morley Mobility
We’ve come from Hull for our first trip to Trade Days, hoping to update ourselves on what’s going on, put names to faces, and see new and old products. We’re very impressed with the range on show here, particularly the super scooters!
Janet Page, Business Manager, IAP Mobility
This is my first time attending Trade Days and we’ve travelled from West Sussex to be here. It’s nice to see a range of different manufacturers and see familiar faces. I’m here purely to spend money and I’m doing pretty well so far.
Roz Boylin, Manager, Keith Jay Ltd
I’m here to see what’s new, speak with dealers and buy a mixture of new products. Trade Days is a great networking opportunity and it’s nice to be able to have proper conversations with trade-only professionals.
Matt Ward, Sales Manager, Medequip
I’ve come up from the south coast to see new, interesting products, particularly in the scooter market. It’s great to be able to try the products out for yourself, and meet up with people you wouldn’t always get the chance to see. Trade Days is much better than Naidex as there’s no members of the general public – it’s evident that this is why so many manufacturers support this show.
Jenny Wood, Director, My Mobility Superstore
We’re just starting up a new mobility business, and were invited by suppliers to attend Trade Days. The show has been brilliant for us for finding new suppliers, and seeing what else is out there. I’ve just attended a session on social media which was great and I’ve definitely picked up some good pointers to take away.
Sarah Bassett, Business Director, SJ Mobility Solutions
I have come to Trade Days to see existing suppliers and find new ones too. I like that I can catch up with existing suppliers and they’re all here in one place. While we get to see a few suppliers during the year, it is more spread out and you don’t have the opportunity to connect with as many at the same time. There’s always a wide range of products on show here.
Nick Lane, Buyer, Choice Shops
I’ve attended Trade Days every year since its launch. I enjoy coming to see what new, meet suppliers and have all of this opportunity in one place at one time.
Jim Reid, Business Manager, Lothian Mobility Ltd
A great show for chatting to suppliers, seeing new products and networking with other industry professionals. I’ve attended Trade Days for the last three years for the ability to meet up with trade only. There’s a nice open atmosphere, with lots to see and do.
